Not only does the converse high tops All Star 70 manage to stand out due to it's leather construction, the use of the embossed floral pattern on the leather definitely takes the shoe to a whole nother level! Converse consistently brings the heat with their Chuck Taylor All Star releases. The proof is in the pudding with the "Rubber" collection and Animal Hi Pack. Today we get a slight variation of the Chuck Taylor All Stars with the 70's collection as part of the "Polartec" pack. And speaking of music (both Mary J. and Kobe's, although one is clearly a step above the other ), what better way to kick off this series for real than with the commercial that set back rap about 50 years exemplified where rap was in pop culture during the 80s: a 1986 30-second ad for the Converse Weapons featuring some of the greatest NBA players of all-time.
A long time ago, Grandmama was poised to take over the NBA. Along with guys like Shaquille O'Neal and Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson was going to be one of those players that was going to lead the league into the next millennium. The Converse Jack Purcell will be releasing as part of a new collection tomorrow known as the Carnivorous Print Pack. You'll be able to purchase the Converse Jack Purcell Signature Carnivorous Print Pack on July 22nd at select Converse stores, Converse and select First String retailers worldwide. The Kick-Off: Maurice Evans had a pretty solid kick game in college while at the University of Texas wearing such silhouettes as the Flightposite II and the Air Zoom GP II, but it wasn't until his graduation to the NBA where he was able to express his primarily Jordan-esque collection.
With the charm of a Cosby sweater and tanned leather trim this pair goes especially hard and features hidden bright green accents. Look for these to drop tomorrow at select Converse retailers. The team up between Missoni and Converse is pretty much a match made in heaven. Converse's Chuck Taylor serves as the perfect model to play host to Missoni's distinctive patterning and it does a great job of turning the product into more of luxury item. Converse is on the up and up and they seem to be relentless in turning some heads this year. After some pretty dope releases, they've partnered up with Missoni to bring even more must-have looks, this time specifically for the Chuck Taylor Low silhouette.
These are set to release next week at Hanon if you are interested in ordering a pair. We've previewed this collaboration between Italian label Missoni and Converse yellow converse on several occasions, but have now come across detailed photos for you guys. The shoe features an upper set in stripes, all the while blending brown, black, and white hues. The cool thing about these is that the inner side of each foot features the same design but in larger blocking. Finishing off the look is black leather, which is located on the tongue, toe, and lining.
